And Generation Are Passing by… Anthology of contemporary Israeli poetry

Posted on by

The anthology presents the world of 16 Israeli poets translated by the leading Ukrainian poets. The book is a poetic document of the generation bringing together poets born in Israel, and returned ones from all over the world. Among contemporary authors one can find in the Anthology the poets engaged in the Arab-Israeli conflict and those who declare themselves to be out of politics, those who came from the ultra-orthodox circles and secular Jews, townspeople and inhabitants of kibbutz …
The Anthology includes urban poetry, erotic poetry, war poems, prayers, poems-comments on the sacred texts… This diversity reflects the poetic polyphony of the Israeli reality.
