  • March 14,2013 the Dukh i Litera Publishing House and its partners launched a project on the Internet TV station ukrlife.tv. The project presents dialogues about Dukh i Litera’s new releases and includes conversations about other interesting publications and art events in Ukraine.

  • 21 February 2013: Leonid Finberg, head of the Center for Jewish Studies, met with  Berl Rodal and Adrian Korotnitsky, executives of the  Ukrainian-Jewish encounter project, hey discussed the details of teh project website and the plan of the project presentaion. The work on the project website and the presentation of the project to Jason Kenney, Canada’s current Minister for Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism, were discussed. Minister Kenney’s visit to Ukraine is planned on 3 March 2013.

  •  21 February 2013: The Ukrainian translation of the encyclopedia The Jewish Civilization. The Oxford Handbook of Jewish Studies was presented at Ye Bookstore in Kyiv.   • 14 February: Selim Jalkut’s book, The World of Boris Lekar (Dukh i Litera, 2013), was presented on the premises of VAAD. The authors and various “characters” of the book were present at the event – famous musicians, translators, editors, and writers, including Selim Jalkut, Akim Levich, Valentin Silvestrov, Oleksandr Pavliv, Kostjantyn Sigov, and Marc Belorusets, among others. Read more…

  • October 12-19, 2012: The exhibition Colorful Fairs in memory of Olga Rapay was presented by the KalitaArt-Club and the Center for Jewish Studies of Kiev-Mohyla Academy.

  • The book Book graphic artists of the Culture-League by Hillel Kazovsky took the fifth place at the competition UkrainianBestBookAward and received the diploma The Best Book Publishing Project of the Book Graphics.
